so behind! playing catch up!

Life is too busy but I must update this blog! I have so much to post....trips to Florida, visits from family, birthday parties and summer vacation. I am going to start with our trip to Florida in June. It was so much fun! We spent 4 days in Orlando, and of course did Disney. We also spent 4 days on Siesta Key and Lily got to spend time with her cousins. Her biggest brother was home from Toronto and traveled with us, which made the trip extra special :)

Some of my most favorite pictures are when my oldest was home with my youngest, and all 4 of my babies were home together. That is something that doesn't happen very often these days....I am so blessed to get to be their mom and so grateful for these treasured moments :)

June in Disney/Siesta Key was awesome!

May happenings

We have had weeks of rain! It snowed 8 inches on Mother's day and we are all ready for the Colorado sunshine to return. The pool opens on Saturday and it is currently raining and 44 degrees!

May has been busy. Mother's day was fun, even if very cold. I got cards and phone calls from my boys, homemade gifts from Lily, a surprise from Mike, and my favorite was this: Lily told me that she was wishing for the rain to go away so that she could find me a rainbow for Mother's day. It does not get any sweeter then that :)

We are well into our end of the year activities. Last week we had Lily's end of the year Chinese school performance and party. Tomorrow is her last day of Pre-K and she has another party and performance. Ballet is winding down, but we still have the big recital in June. My twins have a BIG birthday coming up, my oldest will be home from Toronto soon and my mom has arrived from Texas for the summer. We are headed to Florida and Walt Disney World in June and Lily is over the moon excited.

Fun times!

spring break 2015

Key West was awesome! Beautiful weather, yummy foods (key lime pie everyday!), swimming, boating, relaxing, running, and so much fun. Lily loved the pool and made new friends every day. It was also the first time she swam in the pool without me being in with her (she had floaties on). We nicknamed her the pool social director. She would make friends, introduced children to each other and organize pool games. It was a riot!! The beach was beautiful and for the first time in awhile, I got to run every morning. Lily loved waking up to the cock-a-doodle-dooing of the roosters and feed them cheerios, she searched for seashells and ate gelato every afternoon. Just an amazing trip. Key West, we love you!

and..... we may have a BIG surprise in store for miss Lily........back to Florida....Disney World in June :)
